Eileen is also a published writer and poet. She has work published in several anthologies by Women Mountain Words in the Lake District, also in Dawn Treader, the Leeds Church Institute anthology “And the stones fell open”, Dreamcatcher and in Epona and the Golden Bees published by the Senhouse Museum.
In 2024, she published her first collection of poetry “Invisible Pulses” . Poet Linda Marshall describes it as “lyrical and compelling, expansive and uplifting.” The book includes some of Eileen’s original and evocative images. “Many poems are havens of beauty and refuge”. She is has just published her second collection “Prodigal Vision”.
